Hi Ho, Hi Ho, Off to Work I Go...

Craig rides his bike to work because his assigned parking is farther from his classes than our home.  He looks like a pretty normal college guy most days, minus the gray under the helmet.  Today, however, he had a presentation.  And, it just made me smile to see him ride off today in his business suit.

Two things we love: The library and Piggie and Elephant books

We (all four of us) think Mo Willem's Piggie and Elephant books are hilarious.  We were so excited that they visited the library here in town yesterday, so we could see them in person.  Tyler, Gee, and Pops are visiting, so they got introduced to Gerald and Piggie too.

Easter

Most people have very cute pictures of their kiddos from Easter morning.  We don't this year.  The day went well mostly but not a story book, photo opportunity filled day.  This year I was definitely clear on my need for this, The Redemption Day.  In the evening we did have a wonderful time of egg hunting and dinner with friends.  Through Seth's Russian class we have gotten to know and enjoy Peter and his parents.  "Ms. Martha" planned the very best egg hunt!

Happy Birthday Easter

Craig's birthday fell on Easter this year.  To celebrate him, we moved his very informal celebration to the Saturday before.  The kids have very clear ideas of what should happen on a birthday -- cake, candles, presents, and always balloons.  So, that is what we had.  Oh, and the kids hid Easter eggs for him to find with his favorite candies inside.

Virginia

In March I took a kid-free trip!  I love my boys so very much, but it was a treat to be away for a few days.  I visited friends in Virginia, and, thanks to Susan's father-in-law, we had complete kid-free time for 2 1/2 days.  Both gals pictured are long-time friends made in Korea.
