The Adriatic, at last

It was so nice to finally be able to leave the city and see the Sea.  We stopped by Kotor first, just for a glimpse.  We will be back to discover more corners.

We headed to Budva next where we stayed the night in the Old Town, just a few meters from the beautiful, pebbly beach.  (Beach socks aren't cool, but I am on the lookout for a pair.)

Another Happy Day

We have a car.  Huge for quality of life here!  Craig bought it while he was working in Germany and drove it home.  Woohoo!!!!  He also bought groceries at the commissary, a 220V slow cooker, and a used and lovely dining table.  (And he did all his work too.)

Dad pulling up after 8 days in another country -- and with a car.

To celebrate our new car, we went to Krupac Lake, a freezing cold but beautiful water reservoir about an hour away, after church the next day.

Just because we had a car and could, we stopped by fortress ruins on the way home from the lake.
