Mud Between Their Toes (Or, warning: way too many photos)

The weather has been warm in Alabama, so warm that our kids believe it is time to get in the water.

Cousin Fun

Christmas Moments

Christmas arrived at the end of our move from Indiana.  I think we were a little too chaotic and exhausted to remember much.  Still, it was wonderful to be with family.  I took very few pictures because we have three kiddos to wrangle, but we are grateful for the time and the celebrations.  Even more, we are thankful for a season when we stop our lives to celebrate our Savior's birth.

Craig wrote a scavenger hunt for the boys on Christmas eve.  Here they are receiving their mission.

The boys get matching pj's each year.

Aunt Ashley, Cynthia (Oma), Craig, Seth, and Vic visited the Atlanta Aquarium after they dropped off our truck to be delivered to the new home.  Not sure how long that trip will take.

On the Move

We have said our goodbyes to Bloomington after 17 quick months.  The first few months were long and lonely, but we ended up calling it home as acquaintances became true friends.  It was our hardest goodbye so far because Seth understands what goodbyes mean now.  It has been a hard goodbye for me too, as the reality of moving far, far, far away gets closer.  It's a good move, God-led, but hard.

Packing it up and putting it on a truck... They say we'll see it again in a minimum of 75 days

Our last day was a rough one.  Craig packed the van in the snow, and Seth's last day of school was canceled.  Seth's teacher had a going away party planned for him, and it was heartbreaking for him to miss it.  So, we drove around saying goodbye to as many friends as we could find at home, ending with a pizza lunch with his best pal.
