Our boys loved our Craigslist purchased playground in Indiana. At the last moment (after the labor-intensive, shoulder-injuring tearing down), the movers said it couldn't be moved. (FYI, moving is emotional and, at times, invokes my irrational.) I just wanted to hold onto something familiar for the boys, and this announcement was not well received by me. We brought the swings, slide, and a bit of the hardware hoping we could find a spot for it. I printed a couple of photos from the internet and gave them to our driver (don't we sound fancy?). I asked him if he might find someone who could build something similar for us. I meant it casually, like, when you have a chance could you get a price, an idea if it could be done, etc. Well, the next day he had everything mobilized and ready to begin. I figured Craig should be involved for the safety of the kiddos, so we waited until last Saturday. Craig had a grand adventure going to the "Lowe's" with the builders, places that would send OSHA into utter shock. He returned a couple of hours later with two builders followed by an orange
zhiguli with all the lumber on top. I missed my photo of the car. The guys were awesome, and the swing-sets turned out better than our expectations. A swing-set in our yard is a treat, not a necessity, just an extra special something that causes us to say thanks.

Planing the wood by hand... the only power tool they had was a drill |

Our yard is too long and skinny for one long row of swings, so we had Max's made separately and put out of the sun. |

Work shoes? Why not? He changed out of his other flip-flops and into these for working. |

These guys were amazing. Every measurement, angle, and cut was perfect. |

This builder has three young kiddos of his own and was so kind to our boys. |

The finished project. They worked most of Saturday and Sunday afternoon. |
